Opening hours are Wednesday to Sunday 5pm - 10pm (closed Monday and Tuesday).

For Takeaways, we advise customers to ring and pre-order as collection times are limited and will vary and may be subject to delay.

For Indoor Dining, we advise diners to book table reservation in advance due to limited seating. We have a 30 minute grace period, please call us if there are any changes to your reservation, otherwise you will lose your reservation. Restaurant dining times are for up to 2 hours unless specified otherwise. We cannot guarantee table requests as allocations are on arrival.

Summer Palace is one of the longest serving family run restaurant and take-away in Cardiff. The Chim family, originally from Hong Kong, established the business in 1988 in the picturesque village of LLandaff. The Summer Palace is committed to delivering the finest cuisine from the Chinese provinces of Canton, Peking and Szechuan.
